Last year the total retail sales of direct selling industry in Latvia increased by a record 10.1 percent up to 75 million EUR (excluding VAT). Meanwhile, the number of people cooperating with direct selling companies increased by 2 percent and amounted to more than 64 thousand persons. Read more
By the decision of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), the Latvian Direct Selling Association (LTTA) for one more year was recognized as a Gold Member for its high competence in Association management and successful operations.
In 2019 the total retail sales of direct selling companies in Latvia increased by 4%, reaching 68 million euros (excluding VAT), despite the fact that the number of persons involved in direct sales has remained stable – about 63 thousand people.
The direct selling community is a people industry and therefore, protecting the health of both consumers and the people working in the sector is our top priority. All Latvian Direct Selling Association’s (LDSA) member companies are committed to respecting and acting in accordance with all governmental instructions and guidance from the authorized institutions.
